Does WP TID Generator work alongside other plugins which can generate redirects?
In principle yes – with a few restrictions depending on the nature of the other party plugin.
If the plugin just uses WordPress standard redirect functionality, everything is fine.
There are plugins (e.g. goCodes) which claim a complete virtual subdirectory for themselves, (e.g. yourdomain.com/go). This leads to no links created with WP TID Generator that use the same subdirectory in the cloaked link will work. All other links that use other wording will work fine though.
How do I know that WP TID Generator is counting hops?
You can go to the plugin settings page and scroll down to the end – there is a section that shows you the current hop count as well as a download link where you can download a csv file with all hops recorded by the plugin
I read your website and watched your video but I don’t understand where the cloaked links go and how they could tell me which clickbank sales came from which search engines and which search engine keywords. If links go in website, then they won’t tell me from which search engine and keywords buyers came from, would they?
Hi Kevin
The links cloak your affiliate links, so they point to the affiliate offer you are promoting. As they are processed by the wordpress plugin first, it is possible to send a specific Clickbank TID with them which is crafted so that is has a relation to the keyword your visitor used to visit your website. By doing that it is possible to record the keyword and search engine and you can read that from the plugin settings/Clickbank statics then…
